Professor David Miller has been targeted by the self-styled ‘Campaign Against Antisemitism’ for a private prosecution under the Communications Act 2003, over several posts he published on X. They say his posts were ‘menacing’ against Jews and Zionists.

On 2nd July 2025, Professor Miller attended Westminster Magistrates’ Court for his first appearance, after a summons was issued against him. He is currently on bail, and a provisional trial has been listed for December 2025.

This attempt at a private prosecution is a Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (SLAPP), and an act of desperation by the State of Israel in a propaganda war it has already lost.

We must fight against this attempted censorship. But we need a strong legal team to do it, which unfortunately has significant costs.
